Selena Gomez: Justin Bieber Is "Relatable"

Justin Bieber's Never Say Never made $30 million in box office receipts over the weekend -- and Selena Gomez was among the ticket buyers!

Gomez, 18, praised her beau -- they were photographed holding hands last month, but haven't spoken publicly about the romance -- on the red carpet at Sunday's Grammy Awards in L.A.

"I loved it," she told E! News' Ryan Seacrest of the flick. "I liked it because it wasn't a concert movie -- it was a documentary. I really liked how they told his story -- he was relatable. And it was funny, too! It kept me entertained the whole time."

Although mum on Gomez, Bieber, 16, was also stoked about his film's success. "Everything's been going great!" the singer said.

Bieber struggled to "stay calm" as the Grammys grew near. His biggest nervous-making moment? "I'm performing with Usher, and he's so good!

The oft-nominated singer hoped to go home with a few statues, too. "If I win it's going to be amazing!"

Selena Gomez “loves” Justin Bieber.

She told Access Hollywood: “I love him. He’s been in my life a very long time. He’s my friend.

“I think it’s awesome people are interested – I don’t understand why.”

She also confessed she would not be spending time with Justin on Valentine’s Day today (14.02.11) because she was busy working.

She said: “I’m actually going to be working all day, so my Valentine will be my fans.”

The ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ actress – who has been linked to Nick Jonas and Taylor Lautner in the past – previously claimed she thought of Justin as a “brother” and wouldn’t be able to date him.

She said: “Oh brother! He's little. No, he's like my little brother. It's weird to me."

However, Canadian-born Justin has hinted he may be dating someone special, although didn’t mention Selena by name.

He said: “I’m dating. I date a lot of different people. I’m 16, so I just have fun.”

Justin Bieber: Selena Gomez Is "Amazing!"

Shucks!

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez didn't hold hands on the red carpet during Tuesday's L.A. premiere of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

PHOTOS: Who else is hooking up this winter?

In fact, the cute couple took pains not to be photographed together at all for the "Baby" singer's big movie night. (On Feb. 6, Bieber, 16, and Gomez, 18, were photographed hand-in-hand during a Sunday stroll on Santa Monica Pier)

Although the pair declined to make their red carpet debut as a romantic twosome, Bieber gushed -- just a bit -- to reporters about the Wizards of Waverly Place actress and singer.

"She's amazing!" Bieber told UsMagazine.com of his pal, with whom he was first linked last year.

Also on hand for the premiere, Gomez's Wizards co-star Jake T. Austin dished a bit on the duo. "They're good friends," Austin told Us. "They seem to get along really well. So as long as both of them are happy, it's good!"

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber: I Approve, Says Wizards of Waverly Place Mom

Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Flynetonline.com

No word yet if Selena Gomez's mom approves of her romance with Justin Bieber, but we do know that the Disney star's television mama is all for it.

Why?

Read on to find out…

PHOTOS: Check out Marc's Twitpics gallery

"He's very sweet," Maria Canals-Barerra, who plays Gomez's mother on the Wizards of Waverly Place, told us last night at the L.A. premiere of Waiting for Forever. "I've met him a few times. I can't imagine how difficult it would be for two superstars like that to actually have a budding romance, but I wish them the very best."

She added, "From what I have seen so far he's a nice young man."

Canals-Barrera isn't surprised Gomez, 18, and Bieber, 16, get along so well. "They probably have a lot in common because they come from a regular life and were discovered young to have special talent and passion for singing and acting," she said. "And they became superstars at a very young age, both of them. And I think they have the goods. Some people are kind of like pushed into this business.

"I don't think they were pushed in the business. They were genuinely discovered based on real talent."

Any chance of Mr. Bieber appearing on Wizards? "There hasn't been any official word on that," Canals-Barrera smiled, "but that would be a fantastic idea."

What do you think? Should the Biebster guest star on the Wizards of Waverly Place? Leave your comments below.

PIC: Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Hold Hands!

Be-lieb it!!

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber went public with their long-rumored romance on Super Bowl Sunday.

Although Bieber was featured (as an older, bearded man) in a buzzed-about Best Buy ad broadcast during the game, he was far, far away from the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

PHOTOS: Hot wintertime hookups

The 16-year-old phenom and Disney star Gomez, 18, hit the pier in Santa Monica, Calif. -- and were snapped holding hands. See more pics of their romantic outing.

The cute duo giggled as they realized photographers had caught their subtle but undeniable PDA.

Although a Bieber and Gomez romance has long been rumored, the pier pix are among the first to document the relationship. They were spotted smooching on a private yacht in the Caribbean over the New Year's holiday -- and shared a "cuddly" breakfast at an IHOP in Philadelphia.

Gomez's official take on that breakfast at the time? "It was pancakes! Oh my gosh!" she told Us, adding that Bieber is "one of my best friends."

Cute Video! Justin Bieber Takes Selena Gomez to the Movies

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are still coupled up, and just last night, cameras caught them during date night at a Burbank movie theater.

The Biebs even wore a Mickey Mouse shirt as he escorted his Disney darling. According to TMZ, the couple caught a viewing of No Strings Attached, Natalie Portman's "sex friends" movie.

For all those wondering how 16-year-old Justin got into the R-rated movie...

Selena is 18, so perhaps she purchased the tickets? Or maybe one of his security dudes did, as they also accompanied Biebs on his date night.

Being the saavy mini mogul that he is, Justin managed to promote his own cinematic effort to the paparazzi.

"I'm going to give you an exclusive right now," he joked, "Never Say Never! February 9!"

(Never Say Never, for those who aren't avid Bieber followers, is the title of his documentary coming to the big screen soon—in 3-D!)

Selena seemed amused by his antics and slightly embarrassed by all the attention, remaining mum when asked if she's still getting majorly hated on by Bieber's fans.

Since Justin is too young to drive and all, Selena had chauffeur duties for their date last night, but check out how Justin chivalrously opens her car door.

Are they killing you with cuteness yet?

Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez And Sex

Bieber makeover

Canadian singer Justin Bieber is on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine looking serious and with gravity-defying hair.

In the interview, he talks about his views on sex. "I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them," says the Biebs. He chooses his words carefully when it comes to the topic of abstinence: "I think you should just wait for the person you're... in love with."

Even more interesting is that the interviewer saw what was saved as the main picture on Justin's laptop: an image of Selena Gomez and Justin against an orange sunset. Ah, young love or good friends?

Anyway, the story also talks about Justin's changing voice so Beliebers catching his concert in Malaysia this April may be in for a surprise.

"He's got a nice tone to his voice now," says Justin's vocal coach Jan Smith. "It's a good texture, but it doesn't sound like what his fans think he sounds like. He'll get four octaves eventually. He's still young." Hmmm, wonder what his voice will sound like in two months' time.

Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Hold Hands on Super Bowl Sunday Date

by Jason Lipshutz, N.Y.  |   February 07, 2011 2:35 EST

If you heard the sound of a thousand teenage hearts breaking yesterday (Feb. 6), it's probably because Justin Bieber unofficially took himself off the market. The singer was photographed holding hands with fellow pop star and long-rumored romantic interest Selena Gomez in Santa Monica, Calif. yesterday.

Although the snapshot is the pair's first display of public affection, it's not the first time that Bieber, 16, and Gomez, 18, have been photographed getting romantic. Images of the couple kissing and embracing on a private yacht in the Caribbean surfaced in early January. The two were also spotted sharing breakfast together at an IHOP in Philadelphia on Dec. 8.

The relationship news caps off a week in which Bieber made a slew of TV appearances, including stops at "Saturday Night Live," "The Daily Show" and "The Late Show with David Letterman," in part to support his new film, "Never Say Never." And when the Beebs wasn't on the clock, he was appearing in a Super Bowl ad for Best Buy alongside Ozzy Osbourne.

Justin Bieber Talks "Sex," Has Selena Gomez Pic as Screensaver

It's the question millions of tweens and teens want to know: What is Justin Bieber's take on sex?

"I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them," the singer, 16, tells the new issue of Rolling Stone.

Yet Bieber, who has been romantically linked to Selena Gomez, stops short of advocating abstinence before marriage. "I think you should just wait for the person you're...in love with," he says.

PHOTOS: Celebs with Bieber fever!

About Gomez, 18: Rolling Stone writer Vanessa Grigoriadis noticed an incriminating screensaver -- a sweet pic of the Disney starlet and him against an "orange sunset" -- on Bieber's laptop. The "Baby" star quickly shut the laptop once Grigoriadis saw it.

In the interview, Bieber expounds on more controversial topics than his future sex life. For instance, he's undecided about which political party he'd join. "I'm not sure about the parties," he says. "But whatever they have in Korea, that's bad."

PHOTOS: How Justin and other celebs rocked the Grammys

One issue he's rock-solid on: "I really don't believe in abortion," he admits. "It's like killing a baby?"

What about abortion in cases of rape? "Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."

Born in Canada, Bieber tells the mag he has no plans to become an American citizen. "You guys are evil," he jokes. "Canada's the best country in the world."

How come? In Canada, he says, "We go to the doctor and we don't need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you're broke because of medical bills," he explains. "My [American] bodyguard's baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby's premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home."
