Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift were among the early big winners of the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, August 7, 2011.

As shown live at Fox TV, Selena Gomez won 5 awards that night including choice TV actress, female hottie and 3 awards for her with her music band “The Scene”.
Selena Gomez & the Scene won the choice music group, choice single trophy for “Who Says” and the choice love song for “Love You Like a Love Song“, which they performed that night.
“This is for all of you guys. This isn’t mine.” The 19-year old singer-actress said on the show, which took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles and hosted by Kaley Cuoco.
On the other hand, Justin Bieber also won multiple awards that night including the choice male artist, choice male hottie, choice twit and choice TV villain for his guest-starring role on CBS’ “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”.
“Three years ago, I was chilling on a couch in Canada watching the Teen Choice Awards, and now I’m here,” he said while accepting one of his awards, adding that “anything is possible if you set your mind to it.”
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift was given the Ultimate Choice Award, choice female artist and female country artist and was also named as the red-carpet fashion icon (female).
Two of her songs eventually also won one award each, choice country song (“Mean“) and choice break-up song (“Back to December“).
Other early winners include Taylor Lautner for choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and co-stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene choice scene movie stealers for “The Twilight Saga“, which had 12 nominations.
